We recently read an article in the New York Times indicating the way electronic toys
and devices are influencing the play and development of our children.
“A toy should be 10 percent toy and 90 percent child, and with a lot of these
electronic toys, the toy takes over 90 percent and the child just fills in the blank.”
This is why we are passionate about what we create here at Little Joey Toy Co. We
believe in allowing children to thrive in their imaginations. By creating simple,
wooden toys, we create a space that nurtures natural childhood development and,
through this play, gives little imaginations wings to fly.
